DIO THE SIGHTHOUND - DOG PHOTOGRAPHY IN NORTHERN IRELAND

On a sunny afternoon stroll through Belmont Park, in East Belfast, I stumbled upon some lovely golden fluffy grasses and instantly knew what I wanted to use them to create a dog photography portrait.

ABOUT DIO’S DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

I had a clear vision in my mind of the photograph I wanted to create but I needed to find the right dog. I wanted a medium to large light brown/tan dog and luckily for me Dio’s human, Gillian, responded to my model call. Dio is a beautiful large tan lurcher with a lovely playful personality. He was a little excited by the busy park so he stayed on his lead throughout the session & he did his best to focus on Gillian. We captured beautiful images & Dio brought my idea to life. Here’s a couple of photographs:

After the mini dog photography session I headed home & got stuck into editing. There were so many beautiful images making it hard to pick the final gallery to share with Gillian.
