How it works.
Mount Stewart
We are excited to be working together with National Trust Mount Stewart to celebrate the beautiful backyard of Northern Ireland with gorgeous dog photography pop-up days throughout 2026.
The National Trust is Europe’s largest conservation charity & they strive to protect nature, beauty & history so that we can all enjoy it. They look after everything from miles of coastline, woodlands, countryside, to the beautiful Mount Stewart Estate.
The Backyard Photography Company is inspired by the natural beauty of Northern Ireland. There is nothing I love more than photographing amazing dogs in beautiful outdoor spaces. I am proud to be working together with National Trust Mount Stewart to help them continue to do their amazing work. Every visit to this brilliant charity ensure future generations can benefit from nature, beauty and history they protect.
A percentage of every session is donated to National Trust Mount Stewart.
Costs
No need to book a time slot, just come over, say hello & have a quick complementary photograph taken of your dog.

How Long?
The sessions are quick pop-up sessions and will take a couple of minutes per dog. These sessions are solo portraits, one dog per photograph & no humans. If you’d like a session with your dogs together or with you & your dog check out my private adventure shoots.
Posed?
These sessions will take place in a small area within the beautiful grounds of the estate. Mount Stewart has a strict ‘dog on leads’ policy and all dogs must be kept on lead at all times. To learn more about enjoying Mount Stewart with your dog check out their Dog Code
I will have thin leads available on the day to use & these will be magically edited out of the final image.

How many photos?
I’ll take a selection of photos & edit one photograph per dog. If you would like to purchase a High Resolution digital copy of the photograph or a mounted Fine Art print please see the pricing options below.
£20.00 for 1 digital photo.
£45.00 for 1 Fine Art Mounted Print & matching digital photo.
Delivery times?
The photographs will be available to view in an event gallery within 3 weeks of the pop-up date.
Dates
To celebrate the natural beauty of Mount Stewart we will be teaming up to host one pop-up day a month from throughout the year. Each session will celebrate a different area within the estate or a different seasonal theme. I will be there from 10:30 to 2pm on each date.

What if it rains?
Simple answer, we’ll get wet! Come prepared for rain. The shoots are outdoors & rain won’t stop play. Wear suitable footwear for wet grass & mossy/slippery paths.
High Winds
Mount Stewart has stunning very tall trees & occasionally has to close to the public because of high winds. If Mount Stewart does have to close to the public I will announce an alternative date.
