Frequently asked questions

  1. Are you insured?

Yes! I have public liability & professional indemnity insurance.

  2. Will there be a second shooter?

No, I usually shoot alone but if you feel that your day needs a second shooter or if you want prep photos of you & your fiancé and you’re too far apart to do both you can add a second shooter to any of my packages for £300.00 for the full day.

  3. What kind of photography gear do you use?

I shoot with two digital cameras, both have dual card slots which means as I document your wedding I am saving your photos onto two cards simultaneously on both cameras to keep your photos extra safe.

  4. What is the booking process

Once we’ve had a good chat & you’re 100% sure that I’m the photographer for you, it’s just a £200 booking fee & signed copy of my contract to get you booked in.

  5. How many images are included in your packages?

On an average wedding I deliver up to 400 images. I don’t put a set number on how many you will receive as I never hold anything back. Every wedding is different & the number of images will depend on your day. If you’d like to see some full wedding galleries please let me know & I will send you links to see a few recent weddings so you get a feel of what I deliver.

  6. When will you get your photos?

If you would like a few images to share on social media I will send you up to 5 images within 48 hours of your wedding. These are a little taster & a lovely way to tell the world that you got married. I will take approximately 6 weeks to edit your full gallery. I will let you know as soon as your photos are ready so please don’ be tempted to message me every week to see if they are ready. I promise as soon as they are ready I will tell you.

  7. What is the best method of payment?

To secure your date I require a £200 booking fee & the remainder of your wedding photography balance is due 30 days before your wedding date. The best method of payment is via Bank Transfer (BACs).

  8. Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes! I wholeheartedly believe that photos should be printed. Photos were never designed to be viewed on phone screens or locked away on a hard drive. They were designed to be printed, to be held, to be touched & to be enjoyed. I use a brilliant company in the UK who create beautiful fine art hand-bound albums. The albums are flat lay with an almost invisible crease, they are printed to archival quality & are designed to last. The covers come in a variety of materials including leather, vegan leather & fabrics. Albums start at £350.

Belfast Wedding Photographer documenting weddings in Northern Ireland

Listen to a review from one of my recent couples, Beckie & Fraser who got married at Limepark Cottages, Northern Ireland.

*****

“After the success of our wedding photos we couldn't think of anyone better to ask to capture some photos of our little boy. Just received our photos tonight and to say we are delighted is an understatement! Cannot recommend Gail high enough - a lovely lady with a great skill of capturing special moments in a totally unobtrusive and natural way.”
